Welcome to the Care and Comfort Ministry! We are a group of compassionate individuals who provide quality care and spiritual support to members of our church family and community who are going through difficult times. Our volunteers are dedicated to serving those who are experiencing crisis situations such as the death of a loved one, chronic or terminal illness, unemployment, or other stressful life events.
Our ministry team provides a variety of support services, including trained health and basic medical procedures, transportation to doctor appointments and hospital visits, home and hospital visits to the sick and shut-in, meal delivery, errand-running, and companionship for those who need someone to talk to. We also provide support to members living in assisted living facilities and maintain regular contact with those who are homebound through phone calls and card sending.
Our volunteers are expected to be available to provide support and to participate in training sessions on an as-needed basis..
